Hot! Pescara Jazz Festival / Pescara, Italy

A visit to Italy should definitely include a stop in Abruzzo – one of the most beautiful regions in all of Italy. With the Adriatic Sea as its Eastern border, Abruzzo includes an endless supply of impressive mountain views…old town centers…charming ancient villages…a number of protected National Parks…and many historic churches and castles. Pescara, Chieti, L’Aquila and Teramo are some of the largest cities in the region. They all are cities with great historical importance, and are full of many interesting churches and museums. Each is becoming a major tourist destination in the region. One of the most important annual events in the region is the world-famous Pescara Jazz Festival. One of Europe’s oldest and more traditional jazz festivals, The Pescara Jazz Festival always features a strong lineup of excellent Italian and International jazz musicians.

“Every time I watch Studio Jams I learn something new. The musicians and musicianship are just top notch. I always try to take what I learn and incorporate it into my playing and into my band rehearsals. It’s nice to hear and see real music being made by REAL musicians.”
