A Home for Serious Music Makers!

Hot! Sue Foley

Sue Foley was born in Ottawa, Canada, in 1968 from a typical Irish working class family and a neighborhood called Mechanicsville. Music was part of her life at a very early age; in and outside the home. She started writing her own songs in her teens and honing her craft as a guitarist. She quickly gained a strong reputation, primarily in the blues world. She spent most of the 1990’s in Austin, TX, and played with blues legends like Otis Rush, B.B. King, Albert Collins, Pinetop Perkins and Buddy Guy. Now, back in Canada, she continues to blaze her own trail in blues rock guitar, and building an impressive legion of fans as she goes.

“At my school, everyone in band thinks that music is about copying, not creating. They all need to watch your show. That would show them what it’s all about.”
