Ibanez Gerald Veasley Signature Bass
Gerald Veasley is one of the hardest working bassists in contemporary jazz. To date, he has appeared on eight different episodes of Studio Jams – Episodes #2, #5, #6, #20, #27, #28, #29 and #42. He has been an Ibanez artist on the electric bass for many, many years.
If you’re serious about playing electric bass, you should take a look at his “Gerald Veasley Signature Model”… a truly outstanding instrument, in so many ways. Gerald’s six-string bass features an Alder body and gorgeous Figured Maple top. It has a special string spacing of 14mm at its Mono-Rail bridge, compared to Ibanez’s usual 16.5mm spacing, allowing Gerald to play chords with ease according to his playing style. Here is a short video from Ibanez, with Gerald explaining how it came to be.
