Hot! Jazz At The Lake Festival, Lake George (NY), USA

For serious jazz lovers, The Jazz At The Lake Festival in upstate New York is one of the best kept secrets in the northeast United States. This intimate 2-day outdoor festival takes place in the quaint little Adirondack town of Lake George, NY…about an hour north of Albany. It is produced each year by the Lake George Arts Project. The Lake George Arts Project was established in 1977 to offer comprehensive programs in various artistic programs. Part of its mission is to provide exposure to professional emerging artists, and to provide quality arts programming for the residents and visitors of the Lake George region. This year’s festival, taking place September 13-14, will be the 30th anniversary for this gem of a festival…and promises to be a celebration like no other. (And fireworks over a quiet mountain town and lake in the Fall is really something special to see!) As always, expect another eclectic mix of featured International performers.

“This show is great…for both learning and listening. It should be on television ALL of the time!”
